Apple is expected to announce the next generation of its iPad Pro tablet with a mini-LED display as has been rumoured for the longest time now. Apart from that, the company is also expected to announce the much-awaited tracker which may or may not be called AirTags.

As per the latest report, Apple’s mini-LED suppliers in Taiwan have run into production issues that could impact the availability of the new iPad and iPad Pro with a mini-LED display. However, the latest piece of information says that Apple is on track to launch two new iPads sometime in the second half of April. The mini-LED display on the next-generation iPads is expected to offer better colours, contrast ratio and overall brighter images. The top-end 12.9-inch model of the iPad Pro is the one expected to receive an upgrade to the mini-LED display while the standard variant could be an incremental update.

More details will be revealed on the day of the Apple event which is slated to begin from 10:30 PM IST on April 20.
