Ellysium Automotives launches E2W brand EVeium, plans 3 e-scooters lined up

The Auto arm of United Arab Emirates-based group company META4 Group, Ellysium, today launched its EV two-wheeler brand EVeium in India. EVeium has plans to launch 3 electric scooters within a month.

EVeium will be a complete Made-in-India brand, with all scooters of EVeium manufactured at the META4 group’s Voltly Energy manufacturing plant in Telangana.

Voltly Energy recently signed an MOU with Telangana Government to acquire a 15-acre land in Zaheerabad, Telangana, to set up the manufacturing unit dedicated for electric vehicles. The brand plans to invest over INR 250 crore to set up the plant which will be functional by the end of this fiscal year, the company said.

“We are introducing 3 electric scooters keeping in mind the country’s value positioning and mobility competition. Also, we intend to make a complete Made-in-India product which will help the brand control quality and technology as per the requirements of the Indian customers, “ Aditya Reddy, Vice President, Sales and Marketing , EVeium, said.

The newly-launched brand shall work towards providing users with the finest array of EV offerings including Electric scooters, Bicycles, and electric bikes, while providing its own telematics app which will provide features such as Digi locker, Nearest Charging Station Location, Geo-Fencing, the company said.

EVeium has already started onboarding dealers and is determined to have its presence in Maharashtra, Gujrat, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, Karnataka, Delhi- NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, and West Bengal by the end of fiscal 2022-23 as a part of its initial expansion plan.
