India reports 2,827 new COVID-19 cases, 24 fatalities, active cases stand at 19,067, Health News, ET HealthWorld
More than 3.10 (3,10,92,227) crore adolescents have been administered the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Similarly, the COVID-19 precaution dose administration for the age group 18-59 years also started from April 10, 2022, onwards.
3,230 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours and the cumulative tally of recovered patients is now at 4,25,70,165. Consequently, India’s recovery rate stands at 98.74 per cent.
2,827 new cases, and 24 fatalities reported in the last 24 hours. India’s active caseload currently stands at 19,067. Active cases now constitute 0.04 per cent of the country’s total positive cases.
The last 24 hours saw a total of 4,71,276 COVID-19 tests being conducted. India has so far conducted over 84.24 (84,24,58,167) crore cumulative tests. The weekly positivity rate in the country currently stands at 0.72 per cent and the daily positivity rate is reported to be 0.60 per cent.
